AHFAP is a membership-based organisation for the cultural heritage sector. The AHFAP network is for practising professional museum, gallery, library and archive photographers, academics, and professionals with a research interest in heritage photography or scientific imaging.
Members benefit from portfolio reviews, in-person meet-ups to visit galleries, social events, open studios, equipment demonstrations and access to specialist roundtable discussions. AHFAP fosters a culture of knowledge sharing and mutual co-operation, primarily delivered through the organisation of a UK based conference and special interest groups. Registered members will be given priority for booking conference tickets and receive a substantial discount over non-members. Members can also list job opportunities free of charge on the AHFAP website.
The conference is made possible by the funds generated from annual membership subscriptions alongside income from ticket sales; The committee thank our members for timely renewal each year to make this possible. Membership types range from individuals, students, unwaged and retired to institutional or commercial groups.
Membership subscriptions can only be renewed using the WebCollect portal. Once logged in to the portal, you can update your information, including changes of team personnel and contact details. If you experience any issues, please refer to our Terms and Conditions or the FAQs where the process is outlined. Otherwise, do contact the Membership Secretary for further support.
(When you register you will receive email confirmation of your subscription. If you require a separate invoice, refer to the terms and conditions for further information.)
